The Walk & The Beach

The best beach in Dubai is located at the Dubai Marina. Along the beach you will find plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. Directly behind the beach, where the skyscrapers loom, is the street whose walking area is called ‘The Walk’. Here you walk along dozens of terraces of restaurants while on the street next to you the expensive cars drive slowly to be seen.

The Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is the largest shopping center in the world. Scattered through the mall are fine information boards that tell you where you are and where your favorite store is. There is even an app to download with all information. In the mall you can use free internet. There are 1200 stores in the shopping center. You will find both cheap shops and expensive brand stores. You will also find a real waterfall and the largest aquarium in the world.

The Dubai fountains

Right next to the Burj Khalifa are the Dubai Fountains, again the largest fountain in the world. The times of the shows are as follows: every day at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm and from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm every half an hour, except on Friday afternoon. On Friday afternoon the show is at 13.30 and 14.00. The most impressive show in winter is the show from 6 PM. The sun is setting and then there is the blue hour. At this time the light is the most beautiful to take pictures

Burj Al Arab

The Burj al Arab is a luxurious hotel in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates that is part of the Jumeirah hotel group. The remarkable building  is being promoted as the only seven-star hotel in the world. It is located in the sea on an artificial island, 280 meters from the beach in the Persian Gulf. The building is connected to the mainland via a bridge. The building is 321 meters high and is built in the shape of a sail of a dhow (a type of Arabic ship), because boats play an important role in Dubai.

Desert Safari

The best way to discover the desert is through a so-called desert safari. With four-wheel drive cars you can enter the desert, often preceded by the possibility to ride quad or ride on a camel. During the desert safari the driver rips across the desert dunes. This is a sensational experience that you will not soon forget.
